Hi, MRO Community bring you the Web Translation tool. An amazing tool to fully translate the web.



To make the translation follow the next steps:

1. Download the language template.

Select one of the official languages ​​(English or Spanish) from the "Base Language". This will add comments to each untranslated label of the file.
On the "Language" combo select "New" to generate the template untranslated labels, or a language to add the already translated labels into the generated template.

2. Edit the downloaded template file
Use an UTF-8 text editor to edit the downloaded file. Each line has the following format:

Label = Text #Comment

For example you can translate the web menu. We look for "Home" (label "Inicio" in Spanish):

and add the translated text as follows:


3. Upload the translation file
Select file and the language flag, and press Upload:


You will get information about the generated translation.


3. Test the translation
Finally you can test your language file. Select your translation and click on "Test":


You will see the new language flag on the top left corner and all the translated strings:

It's hard to translate anything the way it is now... it would be easier if, say, there was at least a way to tell what page each string came from, so we could easily look them up

Well, no problem but I agree to bduddy, it's very difficult to find the right translations, because you don't know exactly where something on the page is.

But now I see, and i'm working on an improved version...

Submitted Polish version and made lots of corrections. Newest version (22/05/2011 12:37) is most likely error free.
