What is advanced resolution?

Hi,
I try to see the whole track like micro circuits so i use the advanced resolution not the native one but i don't see so much difference it's more zoom in than zoom out so does it's possible to see the entire track for to play at home with a friend on large tracks?

Advanced resolution is mostly for different types and sizes of monitors that can be used to play MRO. Unfortunately there isn't a way to view the larger tracks the same way as the smaller ones as it would require a screen that can handle 4000 to 6000 pixels in width and height as those are the maximum dimensions for many of the large tracks. At that scale even with a large monitor, the cars are 36x36 pixels in size and would be about the size of the period at the end of this sentence.
