Race Director Mode

Is it possible to implement a mode, in which a human player could take on the role of the race director instead of the computer?

The computer isn't considering some aspects, like penalties for drivers causing a collision.

The race director should have the following possibilities during the race:

- Starting the race and control the start procedure.
- Deploying the black flag for disqualification.
- Deploying the yellow flag for specific sectors or the complete circuit.
- Deploying the red flag with the possibility to restart or end the race.
- Deploying the green flag.
- Penalize players for...
* causing a collision.
* ignoring flags.
* taking shortcuts.
* dangerous driving style. (Blocking on the circuit or driving in the false direction)
- Deploying the Virtual Safety Car.
- Change the number of race laps.
- Deploying the checkered flag.

The following possibilites he should have after the race:

- Nullify fastest lap times. (Important for the Qualifying)
- Subsequent disqualifications and penalizations.
- Approving the race results as final.

The possible penalties should be like the ones in the Formula One:

- X-second penalty
- Drive-through penalty
- Stop-and-go penalty
- Disqualification

The following functions should remain automatical:

- Penalize players for...
* jump starts.
* pit lane speeding.
- Deploying blue flags

Two annotations to the suggestion:

1.)

The nickname of the race director should be printed on the race results.

2.)

If the real safety car would be implemented in the future, then there should be another option for the race director to deploy it and determine, when it is driving back in to the pit lane.

This mode would make the game much more realistic, especially for championships.
