Yes, I noticed that. Personally I prefer the classic style, always liked it. The rotation is more arcade version for the game, and remember the early F1 top down games... the isometric style is kinda uniform and give a pretty global render of the whole circuit.
Well, there is always 2 possibilites of playing and that is nice. I think the arcade rotation is very good if you play with lot of zoom on the car, concentrating on the track. For learning the tracks instead it's better the classic style.
